FFer's.. possible stupid question

How do you make an odd sized bottle? We either make a 4 or 6 oz, but I've read of saying their LO always eats 5 ozs. Do you just make a 6 ozer and waste an oz? Or do you specifically make 5 oz? If so, how?

If I use powder formula then I will make a 6 oz bottle and then pour the extra oz in another bottle to put in the fridge and use it at the next feeding (when I would make a 4 oz bottle and combine)

I make ahead and pour it out from a larger bottle. When I was only feeding 1(DS) and we were out and about I would either take all the bottles I would need premade or I would just make  6oz at a time. Usually I'd do the premade tho, because wasting formula drives me crazy!

If using powder I just make 6 oz and put the other ounce in another bottle before DS takes the bottle. I typically use the pitcher and mix a bunch and make several bottles. I also use RTF and make bunches of bottles at one time. GL!

But DS only takes 4 oz. now. But this is what I did when he took 3 oz.
