I am nowhere near planning for #2 yet, but this name has been growing on me. What do you ladies think of Euphemia, nn Phemie (I don't know how you would spell that, but FEE-mee)?
I've always loved it, but even I can admit it does sound something like the name of a disease. I'm not sure if it can be revived or not, unfortunately: (

I know. Sadface.
I will pack it away with all of the other names I love but can't ever use ? Una, Harriet, Modestina . . .
I love wonderful old names. I have names there that I love but can't use. Ophelia is one of them. I LOVE this name, but I can't imagine the teasing (Oh, feel ya).

The heroine in "The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox" is named Euphemia and was called Esme. Fantastic book - highly, highly recommend it.
