I've heard that cars say a lot about a person, or that shoes are a give away and recently read that a watch makes the man. What surface item reveals more about a person?[Poll]
I picked dog because I think my dog reflects my personality more than my shoes (practical and flat because of bad knees), watch (don't wear one) or car (the vehicle that might really reflect my taste is out of my budget).

I am officially mortified about what people's first impression is of me/us if everyone's voting car(s).
We both are of the philosophy that we drive cars into the ground because we don't like having car payments....
I doubt either of our cars leaves a favorable first impression.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

I think it does say a lot about you. It says you're responsible, you're not superficial and don't care what others think of you. You're not a social climber and have other more important things than a flashy new car.
(At least that is what my 1997 beat up car says about me!)
3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again

. Ditto. I honestly can't believe so many people voted cars. To me, a car doesn't tell me a whole lot about you. Oh, and I LOVE having no car payments.
I'm amused by the car thing. I drive a prius (it's cheep both the car and the gas, I fill up MAYBE 1x a month for $20) We used to have a landrover. People say also sorts of crunchy things to me about organic composting etc
