Making CD

I am not a professional by any means, but I do have a machine and would like to try to make an AIO CD.  Can anyone share how it is done or a pretty easy step-by-step site?  I have never used an actual pattern before.  I usually just make up a pattern in my head as I go.  I guess I can use one of DS's diapers to start, but I don't want to destroy it to make a pattern.

    Verybaby.com has a nice selection of patterns. My mom made her own pattern to make my covers based on the Thirsties Duo cover. They've worked very well, and we're getting ready to start producing the size 2's here in the next week or so. We haven't played around with making a AIO or pocket though, so I can't be much help there.

    There's a great board that is just about diaper making that has tons and tons of tutorials and information that a CD mom told me about so I'll link it below.  According to that site as well as others there are a couple that come highly recommended:

    Darling Diaper (newborn version is free)

    LaDiDa Diaper

    Fattycakes

    The Darling Diaper has the best directions if you purchase the full pattern and I made up my entire newborn stash from the Darling Diaper Free a few LaDiDa's and a couple of self drafted patterns.
