Holy Appointments Batman

I have one in the am with my OB and then one two hours later in the pm with the Maternal Fetal Medicine group so they can start checking out my cervix and the baby. So hopefully, I will not only be hearing baby's hb, but seeing him/her in action!

    I have a day like that next thursday.  AM ultrasound to check on cyst, PM appointment with cyst doc to see if it needs removed or not.  Gonna be a long day but you are right, at least I will get to see the little peanut!!

    yep - i tried to schedule mine like that too!  thurs 9:30 am i see my MFM doc and 10:30 my OB.

    do you mind me asking why they are checking your cervix?

    I had a LEEP done 8 yrs ago so they need to check the length of my cervix as I go through the pregnancy. If it looks like it is shortening or even opening, they'll need to do a cerclage (sp?).

    the surgery went well.  i was released late that night and have been at home resting since.  we should know a little bit more after thursdays appt - where she's able to see by u/s how far up she got on my cervix.
