When did you stop reminding them?
We have our best success when I use a combination of reminding DS before we go out (i.e. usually making him sit on the potty) and otherwise letting him tell me when he needs to go.
A typical day would be me taking him out of his overnight pull ups around 7-8am, trying but not insisting that he sit on the potty. Insisting he go, esp if not alreayd, before he head out for hte day, but trusting him while out to tell me. When we're at home again, I try and leave him to tell us, and when he's tired we have a few accidents, but we're usually pretty good - esp if you count him going to the potty on his own, nad peeing in his pants on the potty seat. (That's another post!)
I'm just curious, if you leave your toddler to tell you when they need to go, without prompting, how long after PTing started, and how long after you'd say they 'got it', did you let yoruself stop reminding?
