how do you get the insert out of the fisher price whale of a tub?

i know a lot of us have this tub.  the insert seems to be stuck.  when did you remove yours and how?? thanks!

I couldn't figure it out so I just stopped using it.   Let me know if you figure it out.

Is that the blue one with the purple insert/ledge?  If so, we manhandled ours out.  It wasn't easy.

Yes, just yank hard until it comes out!

Pull REALLY hard.

We took ours out when J started sitting up on his own and it wasn't easy to get out. I think I got a butter knife and kind of pryed it out.

dh put his fingers under it in the middle and pulled up. or you could probably pull the sides of the tub apart while someone else pulls it up.

I push the sides out and the insert pops out. Now that I've broken it in, it's a lot easier.
