Recommend your RE

Hi Ladies...might be making the switch to an RE soon...can you recommend yours?

I live in the North Hills but downtown Pittsburgh or Oakland would work as well.

My RE is Dr. Wakim at the Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at Magee hospital.  I had a very good experience with Dr. Wakim as well as all of the staff.  Plus I'm pregnant, so that's as good of a recommendation as I can give!

I also recommend the Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at Magee, but I see Dr. Joseph Sanfilippo.  Not pregnant yet, but we're not to the treatment stage, just the testing stage still.  I really like him, plus he was my SIL's doc and they now have a beautiful seven yo daughter, so we have at least one success story in the family!

I swear by RHS and Dr. Albert in Penn Hills. They also have an office in Wexford on 19. I don't think I'd have my babies without her and her staff. They do all testing and treatments on site in Penn Hills and have appts. available 7 days a week. I think they may be closed on Christmas Day and Easter. www.ivfpittsburgh.com

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Tippet at the Center for Fertility in Wexford.  His office is in one of the office buildings behind Atria's.  His staff is wonderful, very compassionate and personable, really made DH and I feel extremely comfortable and confident in them.  We went to RHS in Penn Hills for one appt and hated it there.  The office was dirty and we just felt like a number, rather than real people.  I've also heard bad reviews about RHS from several people I know in real life.

I just have to compliment you on your blog. I read your timeline. I am so sorry to hear about your m/c. The angel phrase was so beautiful and EXACTLY true. I am suffering from Infertility(14 cycle) and I know that there are reasons for everything and that God takes certain people to be angels. I possibly may be taking you up on your referral for RE. I've been through all testings and they can not find anything wrong. you are a strong woman and you will be blessed again. Good Luck

Hi....just joined and saw this post....if you haven't gone anywhere yet, i also highly recommend Dr. Tippet in wexford....his staff is what makes the place so great...you really don't see the doc that much after the 1st consult....Dr. Tippet did also perform surgery on me, and it went smoothly...he found some trouble spots and unfortunately, after a few months of treatments and no pregnancy, it was determined that in vitro was our only choice....so if it comes down to that for you, i HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend shady grove fertility in maryland (several locations and only 3-4 hours max drive)...we got prego on our first try, and i'm now 8wks!! good luck to you!!!
