Stripper Names. Fun only/Snarky ;-)

So DH and I are set on our daughter's name...but of course that has not ended the discussion of names we would *not* name her (that's more fun!)

In the spirit of Chris Rock's "keep your daughter off the pole" rant (have you ever seen that? hysterical!), we decided to have a running list of names that, I guess in our minds, equal stripper....or other adult entertainer types.

I was just posting to another board on this topic.  I've been a school librarian for 18 years and I have a HUGE roster of names of actual, unfortunate children that I've been collecting, and many of these heinous atrocities fit this bill!  I've had actual students with the following porn star names:

Feather

Sweet

Diamond

Stormie

Necessitee (which always sounded dirty to me, like she'd be a stripper with a pilgrim theme)

 

and working the pole at the boys' bar down the street

They all have personal connections to real life skankapotomous's for me, so I automatically associate the name in general with potential strippers.

And there goes my beloved, Amber.

But I will say Crystal because I knew a sexually promiscuous woman who had been kicked out of the local bar and was always going on and on about what she could do and who she's been doing it with. And her name was, Crystal.

Months: April, May, June, September (yes, I know a girl named this)

Colors: Ruby, Scarlet, Peach

Stones: Diamond, Sapphire, Crystal

Places: Madison, Dallas, Austin, Carolina, Georgia 

Regulars: Barbie, Bubbles, Bunny, Cocoa, Mercedes, Taylor, Samantha, Charlie, Ebony, Bianca, Star
