Ladies, please bear with my CD newbie question. I currently have our 1st load of dirty CD's in the wash. I did a cold wash first with an extra rinse and am currently on the hot wash. I used the EFF homemade "detergent" in both the cold and hot washes.
I noticed though that after the cold wash, all of the poopy diapers (EBF) are still 100% stained with poo. They look like they haven't gone through the wash at all. I am hoping that the hot wash gets the poopy color out.
If you wash your CD's first in a cold wash, does the poop color come out then or does it wait to come out in the hot wash?

This. The sun works wonders on diapers. But stains are also a part of cloth diapering. It really bugged me at first, too, but eventually I got used to it.

Thanks ladies. I knew that stains would be common and that I could sun the diapers, but I guess I didn't realize how bright the stains would be....it looks fresh, like nothing washed out.
But I am sunning them now so I hope it helps. DH was disappointed to see stains, so I want to keep them as clean looking as possible for his sake. :-)
I asked bc all the diapers that I bought used from other mommas, there were either absolutely none, or few faded stains.

I have noticed this too on my used diapers. I personally think a lot of people bleach diapers before selling ... or are way better than I am at getting stains out.
