How was everyone's Halloween?

Poor Dylan didn't know what was going on but we had fun, lol!  We dressed him up as a monkey (DH calls him monkey so I thought it'd be cute!).  We showed my g-parents & parents, went home & stopped by a neighbors house then when over to DH's parents to show them, SIL's fam & our niece that stopped by there.

Re: How was everyone's Halloween?

  • Halloween was a blast.  Rebecca went trick or treating with her cousins.  She had so much fun running around on the sidewalk and walking up to the houses.  She actually carried around her pumpkin basket and would get mad at us if we took it away from her.  The funniest part was when she walked up to one of the houses and started taking candy out of her pumpkin and putting it in the bowl they were using to give candy away in.  She doesn't quite have the concept down but loved saying trick or treat well her version of it anyway.
  • Emily had fun, we went to my parent's house in York on Saturday because they did their tot-ing on Saturday.  She knew she was getting candy and didn't want to give up her pumpkin or any of the candy in it.  She had a bit of a melt down in the end but she was extra tired from not really napping.

Sunday we went to Boo at the Zoo and then to a neighborhood party.  She had a good time both places.  By the time it was time to actually go tot-ing in our neighborhood, she was done with her costume.  So she visited a few people in her regular clothes and then ran around the neighborhood with DH while I gave out treats.

She was a tired and cranky girly this morning.

  • I think Annabelle had fun. She was such a good sport about having the halloween costume on the entire time. She actually usually hates wearing hats, but last night, keep the little lamb hat on. We loved showing her off to the neighbors. We went up the street, I carried her and did some trick or treating. I think next year she will be much better at it.

  • It was a blast! I honestly didn't know how much my 15 month old would understand the whole halloween thing but he LOVED trick or treating!! He got it down after the first couple of houses and would hold out his little bucket....so cute. He probably would have done it for hours if I let him.

  • We went to White Marsh's trick or treating on the Avenue on Saturday and it was crowded, but a lot of fun!

On Sunday, we just passed out candy at home with DS.  Too close to his bedtime.  :) I'm already looking forward to next year though!
