No update on me as of yet...just letting the Synthroid do its job.

QOTW: I dressed up in a sari I had left over from and Indian friend's wedding. I like wearing it and never have a reason to. 

My favorite costume as a child has got to be my Rainbow Brite costume. MY mom made it for me and I still have it. I wish I still had my doll.

Update:  Not a whole lot.  I'm waiting for AF and have suppression check #6 on Thursday.  We'll see if my cyst is gone.  If it is, I'll start stims next weekend.  We'll see.  We've been trying to get this cycle started since August, so I'm not holding my breath. . .

QOTW: Didn't dress up this year.  We bailed on the trick-or-treaters and watched football at the bar.  I loved dressing up as a mime as a kid.  My dad would paint my face with cool black and white designs.  I loved it.

My favorite costume from when I was in kid was when I was a mouse and my little sister was a piece a cheese.  It was pretty darn cute.

QOTW: Didn't dress up this year My favorite costume was a bunny one my mom made from an old inverted ski costume (it had white faux fur on the inside). I am still looking at pictures now and thinking how good it looked with very little effort

I'm 10dpiui. I caved and POAS this morning. Of course it was a BFN and I've decided to not test again until 11/5 so that the result will be accurate. This is just too stressful. 

QOTW: I didn't dress up this year. =(   My favorite costume as a child was when I went as a fairy princess!

4) What treatments have you done? We have gone through testing and HSG and SA came back normal.  AMH level came in a 0.7, which the doctor was surprised for how low it was giving my age.  So RE started me on Clomid + Trigger + IUI for one month, then last cycle and this cycle, I am on Clomid + Follistim + Trigger + IUI.  Not sure what our next step will be if this cycle doesn't give us a BFP.

QOTW:  I was a biker chick.  Got some tatto sleeves and everything.  I did see some really original costumes as well.  My favorite was Bob Ross (the painter from PBS).

Update:  Started BCP's for IVF #1.

QOTW:  I didn't dress up this year.  My favorite childhood costume has to be when my sister and I dressed up as "punk" rockers;)  We used black garbage bags, funky belts, fishnets & did the heavy makeup with different colored hair!

Update: Not a whole lot.  It's CD12 and I'm expecting to O late in the week.  DH and I are both running a marathon on Saturday, so I'm hoping that O date is Friday.

QOTW: I was a poison ivy fairy/Tinkerbell this year.  Definitely not my best costume, but it worked.  My favorite was the Statue of Liberty costume that my mom made for me in 5th grade.

Update: BFN on Friday from IVF converted to IUI.  AF arrived on Saturday.  Today, I start BCPs to try IVF #2 again in December.  I'm supposed to talk to the RE this week and see what changes they want to make this time... may go back to dosages in IVF #1 since we made it to ER... or may change completely.

QOTW: I didn't dress up this year and I don't really have a favorite when I was a kid.

QOTW:  I didn't dress up this year.   DH and I just passed out candy.  My favorite costume was when I was about 9 years old.  I was Jasmine from Aladdin.  I was so upset when my mom made me wear my winter coat over my costume!

QOTW: I haven't dressed up for Halloween in years, but my favorite costume growing up was probably a two headed clown with one of my friends.  Her mom sewed us a costume out of a big sheet.  We had 2 heads, 2 arms, and 3 legs in the costume.  It was an interesting day at school.

I Oed on Friday so I am 3 DPO.  I am seeing my RE (FINALLY!! tomorrow and hope to have a game plan.  DH and I were talking and since it's going to be OOP regardless of what we do, we might pass right over IUI and go directly to IVF...but we are waiting to see what the RE has to say.

QOTW:  I do not usually dress up anymore.  My grandmother passed on Halloween so it's not usually my favorite day.  My favorite childhood costume was when my Mom dressed me up as a gypsy.  I looked really cute and I love the pics of it.  My most memorable however is when my Mom (who refused to buy a costume) forgot Halloween (it's her Mom who passed) and last minute made me a bag of groceries by putting a brown back with "stuff" sticking out of it and everyone thought I was a bag of garbage.  Hated that costume...still scarred by it

Update:  I think cycle 2 of clomid is a bust.  I have 1 week until my appointment so hopefully I will have a new and improved plan soon.

Update:  Now that we know the vitamins helped DH's count and Mot I am having a, What do you think appt this mornign with RE.  We still don't plan on any IUI's or IVF's until March/April if needed due to $$ issues but I'm interested to hear what RE thinks of our chances now.

QOTD:  Didn't dress up this year.  I'd have to say my fav costume was when I was 9, I was a TV.  Made it with a cardboard box and tinfoil & hanger for an antena.  My family thinks it's cute since I went on to work for eight years in the television industry and we've never seen any other kid come up with it as a costume idea.

Update: This is my second cycle on the Viagra cream, however, I need to O from my left ovary for anything to happen, which has not occurred the past two cycles.  If I don't O from my left ovary this time then it is on to FSH.

 QOTD: I remember dressing up as Barbie in Kindergarten and I got to wear those little plastic high-heeled shoes.  I loved that!

Started spotting yesterday, spent the entire afternoon lurking on the bump boards, esp 'July 2010 Moms'... BIG MISTAKE.  I had two dreams last night about a BFP - then AF woke me up at 4am.  Awesome.

QOTW: I'm a twin so most of my youth costumes were bride/groom, top hat & rabbit, Double-mint Gum, Mr & Mrs. Ghost, Red & Blue Crayon. My mom was super crafty... This year I dressed up as a "bitter & cranky person w/IF".  Didnt even have to dress up.  :-)~

Update: November 1-January 31 = mental and physical break now that I'm finished with the research study. Even though I didn't achieve pregnancy, I hope that all of the testing I underwent will help women in the future! We'll start pursuing treatments again in February with a new RE closer to home. We have a consultation on 11/22 and hopefully will have a plan of action for when February comes.

QOTW: I didn't dress up this year. My favorite costume as a kid was Merriweather, one of the fairy godmothers from Cinderella (or Sleeping Beauty? I can't remember!). My mom is an excellent seamstress and she made the dress, cape and big pointy hat! In college I repurposed the cape and hat and used it as a "sexy good witch" when I wore it with a slinky black dress.

Update: I had a lap last week and was diagnosed with mild endo. My doctor also found that my ovaries are located behind my uterus. I haven't talked to my doctor since the surgery (this all came from DH) so I'm hoping to get more info today and figure out what it all means and what our next steps will be. 

QOTW: we didn't dress up this year for since I was still recovering from surgery. When I was a kid my mom mad me the best Sylvester costume and my little sister was Tweety Bird:)

Hi everyone! Congrats everyone on all the October BFPs!!! 

We are still on a self imposed break from TTC.  I have had a few tough moments this month but over all I am starting to feel like my old self again.   DH and I are not sure if we want to start our next medicated cycle in Dec. or wait until Jan. 

I just wore a shirt with bats on it this year.  My favorite Halloween costume as a kid was a jeanie costume my mom made.

Update: Today is CD3.  NO CYSTS!!  So I start Bravelle tonight for IUI #6.  I scheduled my IVF consult for Nov 15th so that if this cycle doesn't work I can start bcps in dec and not waste more time.

QOTW: Didn't dress up this year.  Growing up my mom made our costumes (most years) and I loved my jasmine and little mermaid (complete with mermaid tail) costumes

Update on Me: IUI #1 is complete today. now I am in the 2WW, beta will be 11/15. Fingers Crossed!

I did not dress up this year. The best costume when I was a kid was when my mom dressed me up as a bumble bee. It was the cutest costume.

QOTD: I didn't dress up this year, but my son was an elephant.  My favorite childhood costume was probably when I was a 'harem girl.'  My mom made my sister and I costumes in bright satiny material, and we looked like a couple of girls from Aladdin.  It was really cute. 

Update - I'm in the 2ww at 5 dpo.  I'd like to pretend I'll wait until 12 or 13 dpo to test, but I'll probably test Saturday at 10 dpo and go from there.  I have no intuition about this cycle at all right now.

Update on us:  I had my HSG on Friday and my tubes are all clear. Our dx is unexplained infertility since every single test and procedure has come back with 'normal' results.  We will be moving on to Clomid next cycle or in December!

 

QOTW: I was a dead flapper. Maggie and Mickey Maloy have been 'swimmin' with the fishes' of Puget Sound for the last 90 years.

Update:  I've finally admitted defeat.  After a two cycle hiatus for an immunization, I was just waiting for AF to start our first IUI cycle.  Today is CD 63.  Since the b*$ch won't show, I'm off to the doctor tomorrow morning to see if I should start Provera.  I was really hoping I wouldn't have to go that route but here we go.  Hopefully, all goes well and I'll be gearing up for an IUI soon!

DH and I have a "2nd opinion" IVF consult with a larger clinic in our area next Monday the 8th. I'm excited about the possibilities they have given us and I'm looking forward to getting things started.

QOTW: No costumes for us this year My fav costume of all time was when I was Wilma Flinstone. I was probably 6 or 7 and my mom even helped me dye my hair red (temporary, of course )!

I started Estrace last Thursday and will start Provera this Friday to prepare for IVF #2.  I will go in sometime next week for an u/s to see if my cysts have resolved.  If they have, then we will proceed.  If they haven't, we will either have to have them aspirated or start BCPs and push the cycle to January.  I really hope we get our BFP in 2010.  I really don't want to face Christmas or a new year still TTC.

QOTW:  I didn't dress up this year.  We stayed at home and passed out some candy.  My favorite costume as a kid was probably a witch costume that I had that was very scary.

This is our first medicated cycle and I just finished my last dose of clomid last night.  Just waiting for an ultrasound on Friday to see if it has done anything.  I'm also kind of an odd case in that I was an egg donor in College so I have done injects, trigger, and ER that I'm reading about here, just not for myself.  I'm hopeful that since I responded well to the meds all those years ago that I will respond now that I need them And maybe the karma couldn't hurt either, right?

Halloween: This year I dressed as Antione Dodson.  My most memorable costume as a kid was a big pink fairy princess costume a neighborhood grammy made for me.  I loved that thing!

Update:  AF arrived yesterday and starting a new cycle.  I will start Clomid on Thursday and go in for monitoring on 11/12.  I found a new way to relax and keep me occupied (it is actually working)....I tought myself to knit this weekend.  I think it's relaxing....

QOTW:  Decided not to dress up this year.  Not a huge deal...My all time favorite costume growing up would have to be dressing up as Rainbow Brite.

Update:  Waiting for AF so I can start my first menopur + IUI cycle which I'm rather nervous about.  This is also the first cycle with the new RE we're switching to.
