Nursing tops?

Hi, I went and visited a friend today who had her LO about 2 weeks ago. When she was nursing him, she used a nursing top. I'm not due until the end of Nov. but I was just wondering for you experienced BF's if you think I should invest in a couple, or if I should just get a couple tanks instead. TIA for the input. HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Smile

I have an under cover momma.  I really like that is it versatile and I can wear it under any shirt.  I have pretty large breasts and I look like a porn star in most nursing shirts.

I wear nursing tanks at night & I have one I occasionally wear (layered) to work that makes it really easy to pump. Otherwise, I wear a nursing bra under normal shirts. I lived in the nursing tanks when ds was first born, especially as we were getting nursing down.

I prefer a nursing bra and then I layer my regular shirts. So a tank under a sweater this time of year, so I can pull the tank down and the sweater up.  I don't really like tanks for everyday.  I did love them in the hospital and the first few days home though.  So easy!

Same as PPs, I live in nursing tanks at home but don't have any actual nursing tops.  I just wear nursing bras with my regular shirts.  If I know I'm going to be in a situation where I can't or don't want to lift my shirt up I just wear something with a deep v-neck that I can pull to the side.  Layering with nursing tanks is another good option if you don't want to expose your stomach or lower back when you lift your top.
