DH is an enabler but I have smores.:) My dad is still having moderate to severe chest pain and my mom fired another doctor.( Doc was convinced that all of my dad's symptoms were imagined/ all his test results were wrong bc they weren't "standard" MI symptoms and he "couldn't believe" that my dad had lost 25% of his heart functionality due to some "little chest pains"). And then he ordered a pneumonia test!! Um, no. This is not pneumonia. The symptoms and tests are accurate and my dad is not a damned melodramatic teenager whining about a booboo. My sis said watching my mom throw the doc out was hilarious. Sorry about, typos...on my phone.

I hope your mom is okay. It is so hard to be the spouse and enforcer. My heart goes out to your family.

Sometimes doctors are so incredibly ridiculous. Some people are very tolerant to pain--that fact doesn't lessen the issue at hand in the slightest.
