Problem with Ergo - need help!

I just got an Ergo and my baby seems like she's too far down in it.  The top of the carrier smushes her cheeks.  I've looked at pictures online and it shows a baby's entire head and neck poking out the top of the Ergo.  Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?  TIA!

How tall is your LO and which Ergo do you have?  I have read that the Sport and Performance versions are longer than the original, so that could be a part of the problem.
