Another Safety Gate Question

So I understand you arent suppost to use a pressure mounted gate at the top of the stairs - Any way around NOT putting holes in the wall?? I know my childs safety is first but really trying to avoid this. Thanks

    probably not.  Just drill the holes... not a big deal in the long run.

    Yes, this. We didn't want to do it either, but it's the safest.
