Cole had a bad reaction to drymax a while back, and I forgot to bring diapers to my parents when I went this weekend so my mom ran out and bought Luvs, now Cole has wicked bad rash.

They don't have drymax.  Someone asked on the pampers board and she said they don't.

Annabelle uses Pampers, and we've never had an issue at all. Annabelle just got these two sores? They bleed, not much at all, but I noticed when I was changing her that if I wiped it, it left a little, tiny bit of blood. And then today, I found another one! Its not close to her private area, its more on her inner thigh... Just wondering if that's what you guys are talking about.

Luvs gave my DD a terrible rash, though the drymax didn't, babies are weird   The little beads all came out of the luvs

How do you know if its a chemical burn?! I feel so uninformed and embarrassed.

I also saw the post on the Pampers board today. Luvs do NOT have drymax, but Luvs and Pampers are both made by P&G.

Irish - I have family & friends who had never heard of drymax issues either. They had no idea that there were complaints. To be honest I learned about it from here. I read the paper daily, watch the news and read news online. I only learned about dry max issues because of TB.

I didnt take it as snarky at all. I thought I'd heard something about it, but the nurses on post gave us pampers in the beginning and I just stuck with them. Annabelle never had an issue at all with them until recently when I found two little tiny blisters (that's what they look like). I've just been putting on diaper cream and this afternoon I noticed that she had little bumps closer to her private area and on it. So I figured it was a rash... Now I have no idea what the beginning stages of the burns would look like! hahaha

But thanks for the heads up! I'm glad I know.
