I went to the ER on Thursday for some bleeding and they couldn't confirm a HB, but the baby is still in there. They sent me home and didn't say if anything was wrong, I went again on Saturday because the bleeding and cramping got worse. They dated me a week early (5w5d) and we able to confirm a HB. They sent me home again and said to come back if it got worse. What's really making me nervous is that I'm still cramping and passing blot clots (tmi, sorry) every couple hours.
For those of you who have had a m/c, does any of this sound familiar? I can't stop crying and I'm really scared.
Re: I've now been to the ER twice :(
(((hugs))) I'm sorry you are going through this
I had a m/c in January and I did have cramping and clots (not trying to scare you!!) BUT those things don't necessarily mean m/c. It's good that you saw a h/b. Hopefully everything turns out ok.
I am so sorry you are going through this. I had only mild cramping and lots of clots with my m/c. I never went to the ED though as I work in the medical field and knew there was nothing that could be done if I was m/cing that early.
With that being said, you saw the HB and thats a great sign. I would drink plenty of fluids and rest and call your OB/GYN tomorrow.
I hope the bleeding stops and your pregnancy continues. T&P's coming your way,

The clots are scary, but they found a HB and that's positive! It's possible you have a subchorionic hemorrhage or something coming out, but not necessarily MC =(
Hope things get better!

Good luck to you, I hope everything turns out okay.
As for cervical irritation, that can definitely cause spotting, though I'm not sure about clotting. I bled quite a surprising amount after my Pap on Friday!
