So frustrated and disappointed...

I have three friends who were pregnant all at the same time. Friend #1 was due in November (she had her baby in September), Friend #2 is due in December (right around Tegan's 1st birthday) and Friend #3 is due in April.

Well, Friend #1's baby was due in the beginning of November and most of Tegan's newborn clothes were winter type clothes, which it really doesn't get cold enough for until December/January in Texas. Plus, whenever I'd mention hand me downs to Friend #1, she'd talk about how many clothes she already had for her LO. Well, when I found out that Friend #2 was having a girl, I went through Tegan's clothes and gave a lot of the winter clothes to Friend #2.

Then Friend #1, ended up having her LO early and so now her LO will be fitting into newborn winter clothes, by December and she asked me if she could go through Tegan's newborn clothes. The problem is that I don't have anything cute to give her!! I am bummed out because I am much closer to Friend #1 than I am Friend #2 and I would much rather see Friend #1's daughter wearing Tegan's old clothes. Bah!!

That stinks but I'm sure she'll understand! But think: you'll be able to pass dowm more of your DD's clothes - epecially when they get older.

Well, I would just tell her that you don't really have anything since she had told you previously that she didn't need any clothes you gave them to friend #2.  I am sure she will understand but I know how bummed you are because my brother just recently did this to me.  His girl was born in July and he told me the same thing.  Then a couple days ago he asked me for clothes and I gave them to one of my friends.

Is friend # 1 looking for any particular items? Maybe you could ask her what she needs most and try to splits things up that way. Friend #1 will understand.

Yeah, friend #1 understands. Unfortunately, I've already given the clothes to friend #2 and so I can't take them back from her at this point. Friend #1 mainly needs pants or outfits with pants in newborn size. I've been keeping my eye out for newborn pants at the stores.
