    We haven't come to a final decision on it yet.  I talked to her about the side effects of being on hormones for too long and how many child bearing years she has left.  I also told her that she needs to give her period time to straighten out before we took that drastic of a step to regulate it.

    I think that's a good way to approach it. Did she seem receptive to that?

    Yep.  I also said that (side effects aside), if she was considering becoming sexually active, then the benefits were worth the risks.  I may or may not of thrown in some STD signs, symptoms and descriptions, too!  Wink
