I just realized, though, that it would probably be a weird nn sibling set because we call our daughter Quinny (her name is Quinn). ?Quinny and Winnie would be a bit much. ?No wonder I like the name Winnie. ?LOL.?
Actually, Bronwen can be spelled the first way too. My Australian wedding musician spelled it the way with a "y". That's the spelling in other countries.

Bronwyn is a legit spelling, for a boy, so yes, a legit spelling. But we're talking a girl name, so I'm suggesting the correct/original girl spelling. I'm not sure on Australian baby names - I don't have any experience there, but since the names, Bronwen and Bronwyn are Welsh, I'm going to say it's safe to assume they migrated there like they did the to States, and therefore I'll suggest the one I feel is more accurate. If you look at the link, you'll see that Wales is awesome about having a spelling for each gender. I kind of wish we had that here, but there are just too many cre8ive names and spelling variations.

Bronwen, Gwendolen, or Gwyneth (correct spellings)
The Y generally dentoes a masculine name in Wales (and these are all Welsh names). The exception is Gwyneth.

Winfield
I've seen this as a middle name, and while it's unisex and has a Y, thought I'd suggest it anyhow...
