Babies: 6 - 9 Months

I'm a little nervous, diaper related

I haven't been keen on how the pampers baby dry have been fitting my little dude lately.  So after much hemming and hawing of the sitch, and having the CD talk me out of using G Pants with sposie liners, I decided to try Huggies little Movers.

Well tonight we ran out of our Pampers, so we broke open the Huggies....praying that we don't have a pee through or poop through tonight.  Especially since I'm staying in my sister's bed while I take care of my neice tonight.

  • Little Movers are our favs right now. Ever since he started moving around, crawling, pulling up and walking along things they were the only diaper that didnt leak!

  • We used Luv's for the first time (when we went out of town) and we liked them.  Course, we didn't use them much cause we cd, but we have tried all three major brands by now.  They were cheaper too...just sayin..

This is what we were using before we switched to gdiapers with cloth liners. We loved the Little Movers. But we like our gdiapers better now Stick out tongue.

We've tried LUVs.  The problem with LUVS for us is that we can't really find them near us.  I like to buy my diapers in bulk to save money, so I buy at Target, Walmart, or Sam's Club.  The only place I've been able to find LUVS is at the supermarket and the supermarkets near us are so expensive!!!!!

I think I'm still going to try to G Pants though...for during the day.

  • We use Little Movers, no problems yet! Man, we blow out of Pampers Dry Max all the time. Wait, did you say Dry Max or Baby Dry? I like the poop pocket the Mover's have.

It seems like a lot of people don't like them on the CD board - but we have been using them for 2 months now without any issues. I think they are a lot like the disposables where it depends on the shape of your LO and what works for you.

  • If you are looking at the G diaper I would look into the Flip diapers! It's one size and you don't need the shell and the liner then the disposable insert. Just the cover and the insert plus it's PUL so you can wipe it down unlike the G. It would be best to have two so one dries out while the other is being used and just switch back and forth. Oh and you can use the G disposable inserts with them.

I used Luvs and huggies while I was selling some of my diapers and every time he pooped we had blowouts! I liked the Target brand diapers though.

We used Baby Dry.  It seems like the Little Movers fit much better.

Yeah good to know...I'll look into them.  Basically when I asked on the cloth diaper board I was told, if you're going to use the G diapers you might as well use disposibles.  And someone said you couldn't flush the sposie inserts...but it says depending on your septic you can.  I want to try them.

I didn't know they were one size. Maybe we will look at those we we have to go up a size instead.
