Having a pity party...

I keep seeing all kinds of fun Halloween pics on Facebook.  I love dressing up, so it is depressing to see all the halloween party pics and know that I won't be going this year.

I kind of feel the same way. We just moved 19 hours from home about 2 months ago and have no friends or family here.  I'll join your pity party!

You get to put up pics of your DD dressed up and I'm willing to bet there will be friends of yours jealous that they don't have a little one to dress up.  I was throwing myself a similar pity party and then thought that I'd rather spend the weekend with DS in his dragon costume than miss out on his first Halloween for a few hours of adult fun for myself.

We went out last night to a formal event and DD stayed with Grandma.  I didn't want to leave DD again to go to a party tonight.
