Getting stains out of elementals

I purchased used elemental dipes and am surprised by how much staining there is when seller claimed it was 'light staining.'  I personallywouldn't even have sold them.  Aside from being upset about that...  I now need to learn how to get stains out since I've never had this issue before.  I'm also not sure if I need to do something different because they are organic.

Please help!

Re: Getting stains out of elementals

  • I would just keep sunning them.  I think BG organics/elementals stain more easily and hold on to stains more, so I just keep sunning them until the stains come out.

  • do you wash first and then put them out in the sun to dry?

  • Wash, put lemon juice on stains, and dry in the sun, rinse them (to get lemon juice out), and lay out in the sun again.  Works wonders on the most stubborn stains, especially my BG organics (elementals).

Yes.  Make sure you put them out wet in the sun.  That goes with all your diapers, too.  The sun takes out stains only when the material is put out wet.

  • Wash normally, then lay wet in the sun. Repeat.
