I should be feeling good today... got my daughter a pair of boots that we can actually get her feet into and keep 'em on (she likes to kick off all footwear, and it's sometimes rather difficult to get her heels all the way down into the boots...), and they were only $8.50 at the local consignment store... mom bought her a bunch of pairs of tights for winter (since she pulls her socks off all.the.time!!!)... she got a couple toys at a thrift store that she loved... all really good bargains... normally finding great deals makes me a very happy person, yet all I feel is hollow and b!tchy today.
I don't understand why Evelyn's so frickin clingy these last several days, either... could be because I stopped working, and am home more right now, or she senses that her sibling will be here in a couple months and wants all the mommy time she can get now, or something else, who knows? It's driving me nutty, though, because she won't let anyone else hold her for very long, and it's getting very hard to continuously hold a 20-odd pound squirmy one year old!!! She won't even let me put her on the floor to play half the time!!! ![]()
Re: Mood swings suck... at least, I think it's mood swings...
Yeah, Georgia is clingy too.....she has been like this for months. Well, actually since birth LOL
The minute I try to set her down, or step away (if we're playing on the carpet), she freaks out.
I know how hard it is to lug them around all the time....I can't imagine what that must be like while pregnant either! Georgia is pushing 25 lbs now!! My left arm muscle must be huge LOL
Glad you got some good deals though....that always makes me happy too. It's like treasure hunting :-)
P.S I need pics.....
Of the deals, or of lil monkey shine?
