Do you switch sides at night when side laying?

I have never used the side laying nursing position but would like to try to with my 5 month old.  Don't understand though if at night dream nursing do you nurse only from one breast?

I mostly nurse from one breast, day and night.  He usually nurses to sleep pretty quickly in the middle of the night.

I switch sides.  I just hop over LO.  He is not satisfied with just one side.

I switch sides whenever he wakes up or starts looking for boob but I won't switch immediately after a feeding.

I switch sides when side lying.  However if I was dream feeding I probably would not or like a pp said keep baby where he is and move yourself.

I wasn't sure at first either but someone told me (and it works) to just lean over and feed from the other side. I lean over half laying on my stomach to feed DD. That way I don't have to move to the other side or move her to the other side.

this is what i do and it works just fine.

I honestly never thought of doing this! I've always moved myself - this seems so much easier! definitely have to try it next time - thank you for posting this!
