Cloth Diapering

Newbie Question.

I'm the first person I know to have interest in cloth diapers...do you guys have any recommendations for "starter kits" ... is there such a thing? I'm sure you get questions like this all the time, and I'm sorry if you do and I'm one of "those" people. Indifferent

Re: Newbie Question.

  • There are cloth diaper trials you can get.  I know jillian's drawers does one.  There are other sites that offer them as well.  I'm pretty new to cloth myself, but if you google cloth diaper trials, you might find more options.  Also, at the top of the cloth diapering board where the description is, there's a link to FAQ's that will give you tons of info about CD'ing.  Warning: it's addictive!!  :)

  • jilliansdrawers.com has trials that are very good. You can try all of the different kinds and return none/some/all and just pay for the ones you keep. You should check it out.

  • I didn't use it, but the Diaper Trials by Jillians Drawers are supposed to be pretty awesome for those new to CD.  Using it will expose you to several different methods of CDing and you can use that to determine what is best for you and LO.
