I love scary movies but there are a couple that I am just not a fan of...
The worst offender is The Human Centipeied.
I am not really a fan of torture movies anyway (except the SAW series for some reason) i actually like the psycological thrillers and "old school" slasher movies.
SO what about you ladies...what movie can you just not sit through and why?

Re: What scary movie can you just not stomach? (non-clicky poll)
I'm not sure if this qualifies as a scary movie, but I have a tough time watching Arachnophobia. I'm scared of spiders so that movie gives me nightmares!
lol any movie that gives one the hebbie jebbies to me makes it a "scary Movie"
case in point...when I was younger I watched who framed rodger rabbit...the scene where the judge kills the little cartoon shoe in the dip tramatized me for years..hence..scary movie!
I HATE it when people trick me into seeing stuff...Thats why I watched the human centipied...it is just not cool!
Pet Semetary. That chick with the twisted back screwed me up for life.
Supernatural movies get to me. Anything to do with demonic possesion will give me nightmares.
*SHIVERS* I am like you...I just can't even watch!!!
Totally this. I can watch really gory movies, and be ok with that, but if there is some exorcist stuff going on...NOT happening. Amityville Horror, for example.
That part was pretty graphic, maybe if the two chicks hadn't been talking about their plans in German I would have been a little more freaked out by what happened.
Umm...I would have to say IT. but I thought the book was worst. As for newer movies, The Fourth Kind actually had me looking out my windows. (I watched it a night with the lights off by myself.)
We had to turn off The Collector the other night. It's on On Demand. Way to realistic and possible for my taste. I have a fear of break-ins and it's all about a guy that breaks in and holds you hostage and tortures you.
Ugh. I just couldn't stand it - my heart was racing so bad. We turned it off.
I will not watch Paranormal Activity 2. I saw a tiny bit of a trailer and when I saw a baby was in it, I decided I would not watch it. I actually couldn't even finish the 1st movie - DH had to turn it off and return it to the rental place immediately or I knew I wouldn't sleep.
I also covered my eyes the two times I saw The Ring.
Agree 100% And it's even worse knowing it was a true story.
