Stupid formula question

Sorry, I am new to this whole formula thing, but since my BFP my supply has totally tanked.  When I shake up the formula, am I supposed to let it sit until all the little bubbles go away or can I give it to him right away?  Also, if he doesn't finish a bottle can I refrigerate it and give it later?

Sorry if these are dumb, but I am clueless.

Re: Stupid formula question

  • Right away!  You can make formula ahead of time (if you want, I think it's easier by the bottle) and it can stay in the fridge for up to 24 hours but once it touches LO's lips it's only good for 1 hour

    :)

  • You are not supposed to give the rest later although I have heard people say they do. (Liam always finishes his bottle) I shake and serve.

  • Unused formula is good to refrigerate for 24 hours, if it has been drank from, Drew's specialists told us its good for 4 hours (refrigerated or not), but I have seen some people say only 1hr. So, I'd say go with your pedi on that one

We give right away, and then he burps as normal. I've never noticed a difference with air bubbles or not.?
