ABCD Pediatrics

Does anyone use ABCD Pediatrics? If so, what doctor do you recommend?

Thanks! Big Smile

Re: ABCD Pediatrics

  • Yes we do!!!  I LOVE Dr. Schlosberg (I know I butchered the spelling).  Love him and he always makes you feel totally normal for any question and actually always answers my questions before I even ask.  We used to go to Stone Oak and now we go to the Schertz one (he goes to both) and the main doctor at Schertz is great too.  Something with an H.  With ABCD you do have a main pedi but really they just put you with whoever is available unless you specifically ask for a certain doctor.  The was Dr. S put it to me is if you are going in with a sick child you really won't care who you go and see you just want to be seen now.  This is so true!

  • We do - our main pedi is Dr. Arnold. I love her. Dr. Schlosberg is great too.
  • Thank you so much!  We met with Dr. Basey on Thursday at the Schertz office and really liked the practice.  Yay! We found our pedi! =o)
  • So glad you asked about these Pediatricians, I have an appt to meet with them on the 18th.  Glad to hear great reviews!!!
  • I do too, we love Dr. Fisher-very patient and understanding.  Really listens.
  • I love Dr. Gonzalez and Dr. Fischer.  I'm not a fan of Dr. Schlossberg, personally.  Dr. Gonzalez is very lively and my little girl loves her friendly demeanor.  She always take time to answer all of our questions.  Best of all, she's almost ALWAYS on time.  I hate waiting in the germy rooms.  I mean I know they clean and sanitize but really illnesses are airborne so the faster I'm outta there the better.  Dr. Fischer is also very through and efficient, but not as happy go lucky friendly.

I heard a lot of good recommendations about Dr. Schlossberg, but he is ALWAYS late when we see him and the nurse always tells me he's done with the previous patient he's just talking.  I know some people like the chit chatting but as i mentioned I want to be in and out quickly.  He's just a little too laid back in his recommendations. He always says to wait it out and see or let it run it's course.  I really don't think he's ever given us valuable advice.  I end up calling back and asking for Dr. G to call.

  • We see Dr. Gonzalez.  We are extremely happy with her and will continue to go out there even though we have moved a little farther away from the Stone Oak location.  We can usually get in with her even when the kids are sick (though it may just be luck).  We also saw Dr. Fisher this past weekend on an urgent sick visit and really like him to.
