Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Can't CIO b/c she doesn't C...

LO doesn't cry overnight (much) but she doesn't sleep. Last night she was up for 2 hours just screeching, squealing, talking etc...I feel like we're revisiting the 4 month wakeful. I think her teeth might be making it hard for her to sleep so she just decides to be awake. There's no getting her back to sleep so I just lie there listening to the craziness...Poor thing is sleepy but can't sleep. I think last night she went to bed a bit overtired thanks to a visit with her grandparents, but still...12-2 she was having party time! And of course...who's still sleeping??? Just DH.

  • If you think it's teething related and that she's uncomfortable, you could give her some tylenol.  DS has a 2nd tooth coming in and naps have been tough.  I gave him tylenol before one of his naps and he slept for 2.5 hours (rather than 30 minutes like he had been doing).  He must've been exhausted!

  • We are right there with you!  DS has been doing this for a month now.  I leave him in his crib but still dont sleep because I hear him talking on the monitor.  Fingers crossed they grow out of this!

  • I'd give Tylenol and make her bed time earlier. She may be overtired, which makes it harder to get to sleep.
