Funny for SAHM whose DH don't think they do anything all day

DH is home for the first night in weeks. He teaches during the day and either works at Wegman's or referees football at night so he's out A LOT. Anyways, I always feel like he doesn't think I do anything all day and that my "job" as a SAHM is easy (mind you that I would be working right now if I still had a job but budget cuts suck).

Since he's home I made him change all of DS's diapers (which have been a real treat since he started solids) and give him a bath. I told him to make a bottle for him to eat, so he hands DS to me. Well I don't want him - I've had him all day and this is my first free moment. DH looks at me with this confused look and says "well what am I supposed to do with him while I make the bottle?" I just started laughing and said "so being by yourself with him isn't as easy as it looks, is it?".

  • MH does the same thing! Just can't figure out what to do with DD so he can make a bottle, take a shower etc.

  • Sometimes when DH gets home from work I go run errands.  I come home a couple hours later and he's still in his dirty work clothes, no dinner made, bottles are sitting in the sink. He's usually in a state of total dissaray and throws her in my arms so he can go to the bathroom.

hehehe, it always makes me smile.
