light or dark? (clicky poll)

Just curious. LO has a night light in her room. For some reason I feel weird about having her sleep in complete darkness.

  • I keep a nightlight on in her room, but it's more for me than her. I like being able to see her face whenever I go in to check on her and the nightlight is just enough light for me to see her.

Still in our room, and I hate the dark, so the closet light is on. HAHA?

  • When in the room with me, completely dark, when in his crib, there is a nightlight.
  • We have an air filter in his room that has a little blue LED light on it. It provides enough light that I can see when I go in his room if he's crying, but not so much to be disruptive.

  • LO had a nightlight if she woke up in the middle of the night she'd be partying. I turned it off one night just to see and she STTN with no trouble, and we haven't looked back since. :-) If she starts to show some anxiety about the dark we will of course turn it back on. Until then, it's totally dark.

  • We do have the night light on in there but sometimes we forget to turn it on. I don't think DS cares one way or another whether it's on or not.
