Not only does he have ALL his sister's old toys, he's developmentally at the level of a 12 to 15 month old right now as far as gross and fine motor skills.
Social development is right on track, but I don't know if I could get him like a train table or some of the other things my friends with kids his age have on their Christmas lists. He'd just toss the trains around and chew on them.
Any thoughts??
Re: I have NO idea what to get Miles for Christmas
Oh yes. We have the Melissa and Doug band box and I definitely need those ear plugs!

THIS.....
I got this for Joey for his 1st birthday and he LOVED it, as did Cam when she was at the age to use it.
It has a mechanism in it so that it won't get too far "ahead" of the child like most walkers do. It's the freaking best!
And, not only did they love using as a walker (and later on, pushing each other around in it) but they put their toys in it and pushed those around. It got A LOT of use!
Both my boys love anything to do with race cars/tracks/ramps. Fisher Price makes a garage that they liked a lot.
Andersen played with this FOREVER today at the hospital. We don't have one, but I feel like I've deprived him for not getting one when he was smaller:
The window on the front opens so you can take the balls out and there's a shoot to put them back in on the top and then you can push the botton to make them spin and "pop."
Both boys love GeoTrax as well. The trains are self-straightening on the tracks and are very sturdy -- much more so than Thomas trains. And the trains snap together, so they stay together even when walked on/crawled over. Law played with his all the time and his brother would try to destroy them/chew on them/etc. and they held up wonderfully.
A tool bench might be good, too. We have a Little Tykes one and the pieces aren't too small for little ones and both boys have loved banging the nails into place and playing with the power tools.
And not sure if you're aware or not, but TRU has a "differently abled toy guide" on their site: https://www.toysrus.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=3261680
You can search by developmental skill and age.
I bought something like the Rollipop Ball Drop toy for my nephew at Creative Kids' Stuff. I can't remember what brand it was. There are mixed reviews about the durability of rollipop on Amazon but my sister loves it for the kids. I also think the Melissa and Doug push toy with the alligators looks super fun.
Go check out Creative and get ideas there. Bring him with! I love that store.
Musical stuff is a great idea. DS had a toy piano that he loved. It think it was Fisher Price. A tent would be fun too. Does DD have a play kitchen? I'm on a play kitchen kick because I see how much kids love play kitchens and how it teaches so many different social and educational things.
