How many pregnancy tests did you take before you actually believed you were pregnant? I took 5. I have an appointment next week to confirm with blood work. I am still a little in disbelief.

4...I took one on a Tuesday and it was too faint to read. Took another on Wednesday, and it was darker, but still really faint. So I dipped another internet cheapie in the same cup and got the same line. Went to the store and bought a dye/digital combo pack, did both, and whammo!

Five!  My first one was pretty clear, but then I wanted to test with a digital, and then I just wanted to take one every other day.  I had my first doctor's appointment on Wed., and I've felt less inclined to take them after that :-).  I was in complete disbelief too!

6 total.  It just didn't feel real lol and I also loved seeing positives.  I took another one this morning before I went for my blood work appt.  I just wanted to be really sure.  That was my last one, I swear!

6! I didn't believe it at first because the line was so faint, so I peed on another which was faint too. I then went and got 2 digital tests and another box of FRER...they were all positive!

One and bloodwork, I would've taken more if I would've had them on hand.  It was so hard to believe b/c I didn't feel preg, but I ran straight for the lab.  My other two pregnancies were discovered when I got severe morning sickness, so this was weird to me.

I took one way early, but saw a very faint line.

I took another one 2 days later, and there was a line, this time a bit darker.

Then the day after, when I felt like absolute crap and NEW something was up, I took a digital...and there the word was.

I took the 4th...well, because the digital was a 2 pack )

I took 8!!  I had bought so many over the last 10 months of trying that since it was positive I wanted to keep seeing it and use them up!

4 from cvs, a few from walgreens, 2 first response, 1 ept digital, and 5 dollar store ones. believe it or not.. the dollar store ones showed the earliest!

3 or 4 but only because I was testing out my trigger and it never went negative so I was never really sure what was trigger and what was real.  Had it ever gone to negative, one + would have convinced me.

I took one, it came up with a faint positive, so I called my OB/GYN's office and they had me go in for lab work that day. 

I took a second one about a week later just to have a better picture to send to my friends when I told them I was pregnant.

I believed after the first one. However, it was quite faint (I didn't use FMU) so I took another one the next morning to see a darker line (and it was dark!).

I took 2 and would still be taking them now if i had any here. I dont think ill fully believe it till i see my bubba on screen at my scan on the 5th. we had only just decided to try for a baby and i just cant believe it happened in the first month

This almost exactly.  i have taken about 8 tests, and am still in disbelief that it happened first month off the pill.

9!!!!!!!  LOL      I found out so early this time so I was completly shocked. I took one and it was soo faint. then the next day I took another one. Then the following days. Some two a day then When I went for my blood test .They called me and told me it was possitive. But I still had one test left so I peed on it and of course Possitive.   I am still in shock a little and I am almost 10 weeks. I think when I hear the heartbeat It will all be real

I called the doctor's office the next day to schedule bloodwork to confirm but it turned out they don't do that and don't want to see you until week 10 and it didn't seem practical to insist on doing it anyway and paying however much that would be. And the morning sickness had kicked in prior to the test anyway, so it seemed moot.

I took 2.  One at night and one the next morning since they are suppose to be more accurate in the morning!

Just took my first one ever yesterday morning. It turned positive right away but I dutifully waited the two full minutes before looking again. This was our very first month of trying and my first pregnancy (don't hate!) so my hubs didn't think it could be real. But I just knew. I haven't taken another test, but will schedule my first prenatal appointment for a couple of weeks from now. I'm sure it will set in when I get to see the ultrasound! Ack!

The first had a very faint line that seemed like it could only be seen from certain angles (blue +/- type).

The second one was also VERY faint, I was afraid it might just be the dye strip being visible instead of a true positive (pink 2 line type). 

So, I went and got a digital, POAS with FMU the next day and, of course, there's no way to misread that one!

With DS, I took at least 8! (some were negative, some were positive, which is why I kept taking them)  With this new baby, I took 3 + a blood test.

I took four. I thought the first one was lying because I have heard mixed reviews of blue ink tests, so I bought a three pack of FRER to make sure. I had four rounds of blood work done after my BFP because I had a lot of bleeding with clots and feared the worse. Luckily, everything looks good now.
