I have loved using the lighter weight, cotton sleep sacks for LO during the summer. Now that cold weather is starting to set in, I'd like to switch to the heavier, fleece sleep sacks. Naturally, the fleece ones are treated with the flame resistant chemicals. Besides sewing my own, does anyone know of a similar product that does not contain flame resistant treatment? Perhaps an organic heavyweight sleep sack? TIA!
Re: Winter sleep sack question
Halo sleepsacks come in fleece and velboa, plenty warm for winter, and easy to layer underneath for added warmth. And they do not use added chemicals. I coped this from their website:
Does the HALO SleepSack wearable blanket and HALO SleepSack Swaddle comply with the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) guidelines for fabric flammability?
YES. Our products meet the requirement mandated by the CPSC Standard for Flammability of Clothing and Textiles under the Flammable Fabrics Act.
Are the HALO SleepSack wearable blanket or HALO SleepSack Swaddle chemically treated with flame retardant chemicals?
NO. The fabric and garments are not chemically treated.
