If I may ask...how long have you been on prozac and how much are you taking. I've been on for about 6 months 10mg. It was great at first but now I think I need to up my dose as I find myself losing it more often. I cant believe how much better I was once I started taking it.

LOL, I was JUST about to post something to ask her about the prozac as well. I went off Zoloft a year ago while we were TTC b/c my doctor didn;t want me on it during fertility treatments. I've done okay until lately, but when the spiral starts, it goes downhill fast. I need to call my doctor...
sorry you're having a tough time, too.
I've been on it for... four months? Three months? Not sure. I'm taking 20 mg per day now. a couple years ago I was on 10 mg. I think it helped, but 20 is better.
I was taking 40 mg per day for awhile, but I found I was so exhausted that I could barely think straight, so I cut back with the approval of my doctor. I emotionally felt better on 40, but 20 is a good balance.
I am thinking about asking my therapist if I could try something else. Having no libido whatsoever is pretty sucky.

Oh yeah I hear ya on the no libido thing. I honestly cant remember the last time dh & I did the deed. Thank god hes a patient man. I'm gonna wait until after my hysterectomy & get started estrogen before deciding on upping the dose.
Sara definitely talk to your dr. I dont know why I waited so damn long to say anything to my dr. I guess its the stigma attached to being on meds because you cant keep it together.
I'm glad you're feeling better, Femme. I was on Wellbutrin a long time ago and it doesn't effect libido, from what I remember. That might work for you; I was on that during my 1st and worst depression and it was a lifesaver.
