Holy shiznit. This girl is pregnant with number 4 at 24 yrs old???

    Does "mc'donalds" accept food stamps??

    #3, not #4

Her page says 3, soon to be 4?

    She's including herself, I imagine.

Ha!!! Btw, your quote cracks me up re: flu shot. When I was pregnant, I went around and around about should I get it or should I not. One day I was like eff this - I'm getting one!!

  • A happy will not kill your kid or make them fat!  These other ladies need to get off their soap boxes!

My 4 year old loves chicken nuggets!  He is not fat at all nor is he malnourished.  He doesn't eat the fries though.  It is good that your child can eat while on the go.  There are times that kids have to eat out and if they won't eat the food!

The point is he ate & that is good.  It may not be an ideal meal, but he is full & happy, that is what matters!

Gross.  Do you all live in po-dunk-ville where the best option "on the go" is McDonalds? At least get subway.

My kid will never have a happy meal.  This is a statement that I actually feel comfortable making.  None of my friends kids get that crap and I can't even imagine a situation where it would even be an option.  I don't even know where there is a McDonalds.

I had our 3rd at 24 and I will be 25 for our 4th.  I don't feed my 1 year old that crap or use food stamps.  They all have the same father and we have been married for 6 years.  Just b/c you have several kids young does not make you trashy or irresponsible.

    Negative.

Im not going to make myself sound perfect. Im not going to portray myself as the "PERFECT MOTHER" do everything by the book.

I'm going to raise my babies my way. And if that means feeding him whatever he likes. Then by golly I will.

I raise my babies, you guys don't! Good for you if you feed YOUR babies by the book, but I don't.

I don't feed my babies 'by the book'. I do how ever choose healthy options for my children without denying them. Well denying my four year old.

You do what you feel you need to do. You are the one who has to live knowing how you are raising your children to in turn raise their own.

  • You should learn one thing early on as a parent. Never say never, kids have a way of making a liar out of you and at the most embarassing moment possible.

  • Eh, I can totally see myself getting DS2 a happy meal prior to his first birthday.  Acutally, I'd probably share a meal with him.

Remember this now, it is far easier to control DC #1's diet than it is subsequent children.   Once DC2 picks up on what DC1 likes to eat...it's not as easily controlled and they will demand to eat what tastes better.  Also once you have to run to soccer practice and dance, this and that....a quick meal is just that.  Do we eat McDonald's all the time?  Absolutely not! Furthermore, my children are far from overweight.  Repeat the mantra: everything in moderation!

So, like the pp said, never say never!

This exactly. They also have a way of bringing you down from your high horse.

You should be so proud.  Have you seen the video of how fast food "meat" is prepared?  My daughter had roasted chicken, sweet potato and a squash puree for lunch.  All homemade.  Yup, I feel superior.  I guess that's my FFFC

    Same here.

Good for you!! Usually my son's eat homemade meals, but today I had a parent teacher conference with my son's teacher. So on the way home I picked up some Mc'Donalds for everybody!

I'm not a "PERFECT MOTHER". I'm not claiming myself to be. Yes, I admit, we eat out at least once every 2 weeks. But hey that's my choice as a mother.

You should get a mother of the year award for that Confused

No thanks. I'm good. Thanks though.

Oopsie. I made a grammactical error. I'm going to curl up into the fetal position.

Good. Stay that way, hopefully it will prevent some more oopsie babies.

  • I want my baby to live a long healthy life, so we will never eat mcdonald's

  • I know this is so late but its the weekend so whatever.  But in response to those who said never say never and that I'm blind and all that:

We never eat it so what is it about having a kid that would make us go out of our way to buy it for LO?

    1. We're vegetarian so that is probably number one reason why I don't know where there is a McDonalds.  There is absolutely nothing for us to eat there.

    2. There are just so many better options.  On crazy nights that we don't have time to cook we live a block away from a local Mexican/Hawaiian chain which is what we consider for a quick meal.  On the road where there are more limited options, we always look for a subway because again, we can get a veggie sub.

    3. I was given McDonalds growing up and was overweight. It wasn't until college that I could make my own choices that I actually became healthy.

So no, my husband and I will never purchase McDonald's for our LO.

Uh huh. That's fine and dandy and all, but there is a difference between saying you and your husband will never PURCHASE McDonald's for your kids, and saying they will NEVER eat McDonald's as you said in your previous post.

At some point your little ones do grow up and will make their own food choices - whether that is to be vegetarian or not, to eat McDonald's or not, and so on. I know plenty of people who grew up vegetarian, or kosher, or on some other certain diet for example, who still will eat bacon cheeseburgers. Just as you made your own choices to eat a certain way in college, they can make their own choices to eat as they wish. And that may mean a fast food cheeseburger every now and then.

And heck, they may even go to McDonald's and eat a salad (they do have a "healthy choices" menu these days)...but they are still going to eat McDonald's. Not everyone who eats McDonald's now and then is unhealthy or struggles with being overweight.

Everything in moderation, including moderation itself (and this comes from someone who does not like McDonald's herself).

  • 1. Gross=feeding an 11 m/o a happy meal.

    2. Whoever the fvck posted that pic of a naked baby on here? WTF. I'm at work. I really don't need to be flagged for kiddie porn, FFS.

Meant to look like a giant penis....or you wouldn't have it in your sig.

  • Capt. Kirk holding a rock that looks like a giant dildo is completely different than an actual picture of a naked baby.

I get what you're saying, but it's two totally different things.

Oh, I know, and I don't care either way.  I just found it ironic.
