One of those annoying travel questions

Hello ladies, I know these are annoying but I'll appreciate any input you'd like to give.

The ILs go to Disney World every year. H and I go sometimes and MIL has a photo frame with pics of her and H in the same spot every 5 years from ages 5-20. She'd really like to continue the tradition with our LO with all three of them as this year would be H's 25th year and LO's 1st.

Ellie would be 8 months old when we go and I'm just not sure it's worth taking an infant by plane to Disney for a week long trip for one photo op. I mean we'd like to go but never having traveled with an infant I'm afraid it will be more hassle than fun for anyone and maybe we should just start her at 5 in Disney.

I would go, but we're Disney people. Just make sure to take lots of breaks so LO isn't overwhelmed.

I would go, but we love disney and we love traveling.

By 8 months ds had been on 4 trips with us.

I actually hate disney but my LO has been traveling since he was 2 months old. 

8 months is definitely okay.

Check your stroller and car seat at the gate.  Hotels will ususally provide a crib and PNP.

Go!! 8 months old is a fun age, they may or may not be crawling yet. They won't be completely wanting out of your arms constantly. I would go and have fun, it really isn't as bad as it sounds to travel with a LO

Well, Drew is taking a week-long trip with DH next week, and I think he's at a great age for it. I haven't been to disney since I was 16 (so... 8 years ago) so I wasn't really paying much attention to anything small-child related. But I know people take babies all the time, so there must be SOMETHING for them to do!

I think it would totally be worth it. My son is 8 months and I think he would get a kick out of Disney. You should go!

I'd go.  Travelling with DS (and I've been alone, mostly) isn't as bad as I thought it would be.  The planning/anticipation is far worse!

Thanks ladies. I really didn't want them to miss the pic since it's been their tradition since H has been alive. We had talked about leaving Ellie with my parents so they could still get theirs but the thought of leaving her for a week already has me teary.

I just wasn't sure how well she may tolerate a week long trip of long days in a park. I know every baby is different but I do appreciate the input!

DS will be 8 months when we go to Disney.  My parents go every year and DH and I have been going every other year.  I am a little nervous with DS on the plane, but Im sure it will ok
