Question about TTC w/o return of AF ??

I am sure there are "better" boards to post this question on, but I'm scarrud...so you guys get the question!!  

DH and I are really considering TTC However I am still at a lost on how to do this since (besides just doing the deed) my AF has not returned. So I have NO idea if I am even ovulating...?? We haven't used any protection for 3 months now and haven't had a BFP, DS was a surprise so we never really had to "temp" or really try at it. Should I start temping, even though I have no AF yet?

    Get an ovulation kit from the drug store and get to it!!  That should tell you if you're even O'ing...  GL!!

    Never used an O kit before, aren't you suppose to test after your af? so what would I test every day until I was Oing??? that would be a lot of test!!

    There are usually 7 tests in a kit. So yes, it would be alot, but hopefully not too bad. And I think the test are for whether or not you're going to ovulate within the next 48 hours (might want to double check on the instructions), so maybe you could even do one every other day? Can you not feel when you ovulate? I have some serious abdominal pain when I do!!! As far as if you should attempt....that's your call! If you're both on the same page, go for it!

    Your siggy said you're addicted to POAS...  And, yeah, there's like 20 tests in a box - or something like that.  I mean, if you're serious about TTC, I'd at least google how they work, or go check it out at the drug store.  They're not much more expensive than a pack of pg tests.

    Thanks Laides. Yes I am addicted to POAS, not having an AF throws me off so I am always thinking I am KU. I will have to go check out the tests tomorrow!
