Let's lighten the mood: CANDY!

What kind of candy do you usually give out for Halloween?

Me? I buy the stuff that *I* like so that I can munch on it, LOL: mini Snickers, Milky Way, Reese's Peanut Butter cups. A few years ago I bought miniature sized bags of microwave popcorn and that was fun too, but I missed my chocolate/caramel/peanut fix!

  • I got milk duds and skittles.

  • I usually don't give out candy because we leave our neighborhood to trick-or-treat with other families/friends in another part of town.  But I always hope and pray that DD brings home lots of Kit Kats.  Those are my favorite!!! And the mini-snickers, too!

  • I got a mixed bag with some of the stuff I like...PB Cups, KitKat, Hershey's bars and Almond Joy.  I also have some candy corn in individual bags because I wanted to use some for decoration and had some leftover.
  • I'm usually not home to give out candy but I prefer chocolate like Milky Ways, Hershey, etc. I'm not a big fan of hard, sticky candy.

  • We don't pass out candy at our house--we live in the country and the houses are really far apart so most of the kids go into other neighborhoods to ToT--I have never had someone venture down our 1/4 mile driveway to knock on our door.

That being said--I buy tons of candy to take to all the various parties and events that DD has this week.  I buy what I like (any kind of chocolate candy that does NOT have carmel).  In theory, it's so I can eat the leftovers.  The faulty part of that theory, though, is that when you take candy to someone else's home/event, THEY are the ones who end up with all the leftovers!

  • I do the opposite and buy candy I don't like so I won't eat it all.  I bought Tootsie Rolls.  We don't usually get trick or treaters anyway so I know I'll most likely have it around a while.
  • Snickers, reese cups, kit kats, skittles, peanut butter m&ms, and swedish fish.

And I wonder why I've gained back the 5 pounds I recently lost.

  • We don't buy candy because we don't get trick or treaters :( .  We live in the middle of no where.

  • M&M's and reese's pb cups.
  • We're not handing out candy this year (I don't think) but I bought some stuff for our church party....starburst, Pixy Stix, and Tootsie pops.  I also bought some chocolate to keep around here....but that's normal (Reese's, Snickers, KitKat).

I'm too cheap to buy chocolate for the TOTers, lol.

  • We live in the country as well and the houses are too far apart for trick or treating. We usually go to a family member's sub. I bought some today to make little treat bags for my nieces and nephews- it has to be peanut free tho so it is sweet tarts, milk duds, and Hershey kisses.. If I were passing it out, I would have mnms, snickers, crunch bars and laffy taffy-I love candy!
