QOTW: Do you or your DH have to travel a lot for work? How do you balance that with your LOs?
Re: ***2IF weekly check-in***
Update: I am trying to do as much research on VBACs as I can.
QOTW: DH doesn't travel much, but he has been in Japan since last Saturday and returns Sunday. It hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be, but I make sure we get out of the house everyday so that I don't go crazy having no adult interaction. And I haven't made dinner all week, since I also have to add on the bath/bedtime routine to my list of duties. Not having to cook or do those dishes has been helpful.
Update: Started micro Lupron inj. this morning. Then on Sun I start Follistim and Repronex. I've been trying to eat better and working out, doing yoga and pilates.
QOTD: DH travels every now and then, but only within the U.S. He will be gone next week for a couple days, since his company is merging with a couple others. There have been times when we go with him and they pay for us. That was fun, to make a mini vacay out of it. It's not too bad when he is gone for a day or two, but when it's longer, DS gets crazy and I need a break. I usually call my dad to watch him for a couple hours.
TTC #2 since Nov '07
Tried 4 cycles of Clomid, TI, Gonal-f, and IUI's - all BFFN's
Both tubes removed Nov '09
Low AMH = 0.3
IVF #1 for Feb '10 - cancelled due to poor response - Gonal-f and Repronex
IVF #1.2 for June '10 - Gonal-f, Menopur, and micro Lupron
ER - 6/19 (2 retrieved), ET - 6/22 (1 transferred with ICSI), Beta 7/5 = BFFN
IVF #2 for Nov '10 was cancelled due to poor response - Follistim, Repronex, and micro Lupron
IVF #2.2 for Feb '11 - Gonal-f, Repronex, and Ganirelix
ER - 2/24 (8 retrieved), ET - 3/1 (2 transferred with ICSI), froze 3, Beta 3/11 = BFFN
FET - 4/19 (3 transferred), Beta 4/28 = BFP, EDD 1/4/12
Update: Not much new...I have 9 weeks to go, at the most, as of today!
QOTW: nope no traveling...thank goodness.
Update: Not much new here - trying to chill out, force myself to not over analyze every twinge or symptom - some days easier than others!
QOTW: DH travels a ton for work - the only thing we can do is try to make sure DD has lots of time with DH when he is here.

Miracle DD born 12.2005
TTC #2 since Dec 2008 w/ PCOS
***P/SAIF Always Welcome***
Keep it Natural, Baby!
Update: I'm 32 weeks, and my belly is big! We're *still* working on getting DH's stuff out of Kira's future bedroom. It's upsetting that it wasn't completed months ago as I had hoped since I don't want it to seem that the baby is kicking DD out of her room. Plus I still have to start looking through and at baby things, something I was of course looking forward to, but now will be rushed.
QOTD: He has 3 conferences a year, and they're not fun! Thankfully he won't have one in November this year as I'll be 8 months pg. He did still have his May one which was hard because I had m/s, a cold, and DD wasn't in preschool those days. DD ended up watching Mommy TV since I couldn't do anything more than lie there, LOL. And he still had his September one 5-6 weeks ago.
Our Thanksgiving Day baby 11/22/07
Pregnant with #2 with LPD, uterine polyp/hysteroscopy, DOR (AMH = 0.17), 2 c/ps
Our early Christmas present 12/9/10
Update: Not much new... just balancing the critters and work. I need a vacation!
QOTW: DH and I work together and we use our rare work trips as a time to reconnect. About once every 3 mos we need to take a day or two and go up to Albuquerque. The critters stay with my mom or we take them with us. It is fun. It is nice to be in a family business for this reason.
Update: We're only a few short weeks away from Lily's first birthday. And Tuesday is the 3 year mark of my introduction to the world of m/c and IF... Hard to belive I'd have a 2 going on 3yo right now instead of lamenting DD's turning one!
QOTW: No travel for work for either of us, though DH is away for a full 24hours every 3 days, which can be trying, me having to get the LO's down to bed on my own.
Update: still chugging along at about 29 weeks. I'm having a lot of pelvic and back pain this time around, so generally I'm sore, but good. I failed my 1 hr glucose test, but haven't heard any bad news about my 2hr test that I did a couple of weeks ago, so I'm hoping no news is good news:o)
QOTW: DH does not travel for work, and neither do I . His shift work has him away several nights a month, but it's just overnights. I don't think I could handle shift work plus work travel, lol!
I've been MIA a bit since my computer is being wonky
update: still plugging along. N is still inside and growing and her heart appears to be holding steady. If she hasn't arrived on her own, I'll have an induction in 23 days O_O
QOTW: neither of us travel. I'm a sahm and he's a firefighter - he's usually only gone for 2ish days at a time, home to sleep for 10 or 12hours and then back to work for another couple days before being home for his off cycle (4days).
Update: Going to RE Tuesday to have bw done to check my progesterone levels just to double-check that I did indeed O' on CD22. After that, it's just a matter of waiting for AF so I can start the new game plan of the higher dose of Clomid along with the steroid I've been taking to help me respond better to the Clomid.
QOTW: I don't travel for work, but DH does quite a bit. He's gone anywhere from 3-5 days a week every other week or so to as long as two weeks at a time a few times a year. It sucks for DD and it sucks for us ttc!
Update: I found a new OB and I'm having laparoscopic surgery on Thrusday to determine why I still have pain from my c-section (4 yrs ago) and cause for infertility. I am ready to find out some answers!
QOTW: DH and I don't travel for our jobs, but both have demanding jobs. I am very thankful for my mom who helps out a ton with our son. DS just started a great school that is half days, five days a week, and is thriving. So far we are somehow balancing it!
UPDATE: Nothing new here. I'm on an elected break month but am supposed to O this week so lots of BD going on here. 4 days after the surge I will be sticking prometrium up my hoo-ha 2 x a day in the hopes that it gets my spotting under control.
QOTW: DH doesn't travel much for work maybe 3 x a year, so we are lucky. He does leave the house at 6:30 am and doesn't get home til 7 pm during the week, so my days are long, but we make the best of the ) He only gets to see DD for like an hour a day during the week, but we sit down as a family and have dinner as soon as he walks in the door. We make it a point to spend at least 1 weekend day as family day.
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
update: could test this weekend, but I am sure it will be a BFN. Had some brown spotting the other day
QOTW: We do not travel so it is nice, we do not have to worry about the kids.
We had 2 years of IF trying to conceive #2 and one loss during that time. We are currently trying for #3! had another loss the end of June
Update: Baby Christopher joined our family last Tuesday via c-section. He was 8 lbs, 1 ounce and 21 inches. Crazy, but true, even with all of the secondary infertility stuff we went through trying to make him, we've started to discuss #3. I could not have made it through this journey without you girls...you're always so supportive and helpful.
QOTW: DH does not travel a lot for work but is gone 3-4 days at a time. We balance that with a LOT of support through my parents!
Congrats on Christopher's arrival!!

my u/s on Friday showed my lining to only be 6 but there were 5 potential little one theres! he had me come back on Monday for a follow-up u/s .. my lining was measuring where it should be but we were down to only 1 eggie. same thing happened last month only this time even the dr wasn't totally hopefully. his feeling is it only takes one to get pregnant so we triggered. that was yesterday so I O today. We don't want to discount this cycle yet but his suggested next step is injectibles w/ IUI. Since my ins. now requires injectibles to go through mail order I need to plan sooner rather than later. And as someone mentioned - it will be murphy's law that I'll get pregnant once I have everything purchased lol
Update: Nothing really new here - just waiting for my next appt in a couple of weeks.
QOTW: We each have to travel here and there for work - typically a few days at a time. Our respective works know that if the other already has travel arrangements then the other can't travel at the same time. Both of us are fortunate enough to have flexible enough jobs and understanding bosses that it's okay if we show up late or leave early to take care of K while the other is gone.
