So yeah, time to lower the crib mattress!!

I walk into DS' room this morning and he's on his knees with his hands on the railing. What?! He has no shown any indication of pulling himself up. Holy crap.

Same here.  I walked into his room at 4 am...he had the bumper all pushed down on the mattress and was pulling himself up.  OMG.

It scared the crap out of me. I told DH on his way into the shower and he said he'd lower it tonight.

So just 2 minutes ago I went to grab on him after his nap.....up on his knees, hands on the railing.....gumming the railing. Oy vey!

Yikes!  Definitely time to move it down.

It scared the crap out of me, too!  And I didn't get any sleep after 4...I put him back in the crib, but then kept thinking of how he was going to pull himself up and over the side, so I kept watching the monitor.  And then I brought him in bed with us and tried to close my eyes but I was too awake.

My DH is lowering it before bed tonight too!  I'm a little sad that I won't just be able to lay him down though.  We usually put him in the crib drowsy but awake...but sometimes he falls asleep in the car or our arms and I'm reallllllly not looking forward to trying to get him onto the mattress!
