Babies: 6 - 9 Months

My FFFC

I never do this, but here goes:

I am a MISERABLE pregnant person. I LA-LA-LAHVE my kids, but I hate the 9 months of "torture." I don't want to decorate nurseries, or make registries, or even take pictures of my bump. I don't want people touching my belly. If you ask me how I am feeling, don't be surprised if my answer isn't saccharine sweet. And news flash: I am NOT glowing - its called sweat from lugging all this extra pound-age around my midsection.

I have been pregnant for pretty much a year and a half now, and all I want is some freaking tequila! :)

**Please remind me of this post after Adie is born. I conveniently forgot how much I hate being pregnant immediately after Drew was born. HAHAHAHA**?

  • I'm jealous that you forget. I'd be happy to remind you that being pregnant is hell on wheels in a few months.

That is completely me.  That is probably why I got fixed after DD came out so that we didn't have to worry about my sanity if I got pregnant with a 3rd.

  • I loath being pregnant as well.  I LOVE my Asher, but the 9months I carried him was total hell.  I'm glad I did it, but I was like you are right now.
  • I'm guessing you really don't like it when people throw out there "you know what causes this right?" Stick out tongue
  • I seem to be in the minority group that loved being pregnant. The m/s didn't really bother me (even though I DID puke. A lot.) The worst was the heartburn, but with some Tums, it was fixed.

At least we don't carry our babies as long as elephants, right? :)

  • mine wasn't because of m/s or heartburn and my pregnancies were hard I was just miserable with the added weight and the constant movement that everyone says will be the most magical thing.  It was not so much magical rather painful.  Both of my kids moved like CRAZY.  They literally never slept and when they were moving it was like an alien trying to escape my stomach.  I actually had a co-worked staring at my stomach during a meeting and she was making sounds and faces like omg WTH is going on in your stomach?!  Not fun.
  • I am so with you. I HATE being pregnant so much. I complained every day with DD and here goes again. Man I guess I was like you and forgot how much I hated being pregnant. I didn't even have a rough pregnancy or delivery so that is not the issue. I just hate being HUGE. I hate for my clothes to not fit and I hate trying to get rid of the baby weight. I got it all off to now put it all back on again. Man after this LO we are going to wait until DD is at least 3 or 4 before we start even thinking about having #3 if we even get that far. 2 might be my magic number :) Let complain together now ok!

I so just LOLed at that. I know what you mean. DD would move all the time and when she would hurt me I would push her back and my mom would be like don't hurt your daughter. I said well she is hurting me so its only fair. Plus she wont ever remember me pushing on her to move that foot of hers that was always in my ribs or my lungs!

  • First of all, congrats on being pregnant again (I remember you from the tri boards).  I bet you look great, just don't feel it.  I think we can all empathize with you (on being pregnant, not being pregnant for 1.5 years).
If being a math nerd is wrong, I don't wanna be right!
  • ITA.  By the time Baby Bro is born, I will be pregnant for almost 2yrs straight.  I miss alcohol, among other things.  I can't wait til this pregnancy is over...
