It's a bit closer to 7 here too. Maybe about 6:45. The days are so short in the winter :-( I will be using the gym's warm water pool with Ophelia like crazy this year I'll bet.
With the time change it'll be getting dark as hubs gets home from work and I put dinner on the table.
The sun sets around 630 here so it'll get dark closer to 7. When the time changes, I guess the sun will be setting while I'm driving home from work, which is so annoying.
In WI the earliest it will get dark is around 4-4:30. After Daylight Savings Time, it will be around 5:30 yet this week, then get earlier over the next few weeks.

This is backward isn't it? Spring Forward and Fall Back and all that. At 2am it becomes 1 am again. Right?
Re: What time does it get dark out for you?
I really think New England needs its own time zone.
