9 months old and only....

eating stage 2 foods. When I try and give her thicker food that stage 2 she gags. I have tried to thicken up her cereal but she will just gag and spit it out until I make it thinner. At the rate we are going I am afraid she will be on stage 2 babyf ood forever. I have given her some cut up plain noodles and she eats puff and mum mums and graham crackers just fine so I don't understand why she doesn't want anything thicker. Anyone else have a 9 month old that does this?

    LO is 10.5 months and still gags sometimes.  I kept feeding things to him and as time went on, he got better.

    Just keept at it, she'll eventually stop gagging. Brody gagged on Stage 3 foods probably the first half-dozen times I tried giving it to him. He eventually got much better.

    Thanks ladies. I will just keep at it and see if it gets better.

    FWIW, DS never ate state 3 foods. He hated them. We went from stage 2 right to finger foods with no issues :)
