Weird ?: does anyone else sleep with earplugs in?

DH snores and grunts most of the night, so the majority of the night I do wear earplugs. He is a light sleeper and will wake if the kids make a sound over their monitors, so I don't have to worry about that. I do wake up around 7:00 and at that point take them out (if I hadn't already), so I can hear the baby when he wakes up. Preston comes down himself at 8:00 (when his clock turns green)..lol.

I used to before LO, every once and a while if I needed a really good night's sleep, but I am the lighter sleeper and listen for LO over the monitor.  They work great, but I always had sore ears the next morning.

Nope - MH can sleep thru anything - and I wake up to any little peep on the monitor.

I do.  DD is still in our room so I hear her fine she she starts babbling or fussing, but it drowns out DH's wheezing.  His allergies are always horrible.

Nope, I can't stand earplugs at all. Not even headphones that go in your ears like earplugs...

Before we had DS yes.  I had too.  DH snores SO loud.  It's seriously crazy how loud he snores.  Near the end of my pregnancy and before he deployed to Afghan (I was 37 weeks when he left) he actually slept in the spare room because I would sleep an hour if that? 

Now that he's home he's back to snoring super loud.  Urgh.  But, I can't sleep with ear plugs anymore since I wont be able to hear DS. 

After we trade in his car next year for a SUV our next purchase is a king size bed.  Maybe that will make it more bearable? haha
