name suggestions needed

Hi all,

We're due in Feb and have a loooong list of possible girl names.  What do you think of this partial list:

Alexandra

Madeleine

Amberly

Claire/Clara

Everleigh

Jillian

Jocelyn

Celeste

Laurel

Alynne

Middle name will be Jean/Jeanette (family name).  Last name is a pretty common name, a colour starting with Br-

 I know the list is a bit wide-ranging, we just really aren't sure.  Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated!

I love Clara and Jillian! Jocelyn, Madeleine and Laurel are nice too. I don't think I would do a 'J' first name with middle name Jean/Jeanette though, so my vote goes to Clara Jean/Jeanette.

I really like Celeste and Laurel. Laurel Jean Brown would be a lovely name. I really dislike Amberly, Everleigh, and Alynne (not sure how this would even be pronounced). The rest are fine.

I really like Jillian and Celeste - especially Celeste.  Celeste Jean sounds nice.  I really, really dislike Amberly, Everleigh, and Alynne (I'm not even sure how to pronounce that).

Our girl name is Clara. I love it, along with Claire, Laurel, and Everleigh.

The rest are NMS.

i love the names alexandra and claire!  however, i don't love either name with your middle name options plus your last name.  thankfully, middle names aren't used that often, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

i'd go with alexandra jeanette.

Alexandra, Madeleine, Claire/Clara, Jocelyn, Celeste & Laurel.

Don't care for Amberly (sounds cutesy and made-up), Everleigh (sounds made-up and trendy), Jillian (I just don't like it; think it sounds a little prissy), and Alynne (not sure how to pronounce that--Uh-Lynn?).

I like both Jillian and Jocelyn, but I wouldn't use either with Jean/Jeanette.

Thanks everyone!  I'm kind of on the same page as most of you.  I'll be you would not be surprised to hear that Amberly and Everleigh are names I got from my work place (NICU) so I guess they count as hospital names

My DH really likes Alexandra, but I'm a litte meh about it, especially since it's unlikely she'll ever really be called by her full name.

Any other name suggestions in a similar vein to Jillian, Claire/Clara, Madeleine, Laurel etc?

And Alynne would be pronounced Ah-lynn, sort of like the man's name Allen.  I read it in a french book when I was younger and always kind of liked it.

We're doing Jean as a middle name too! And I'm due in Feb!

I like Jocelyn! That's one of our names! And I think J.J. would be a cute NN!

The rest of our list is Brynn, Carly, Alana and Leah.

there aren't any that i love, but if i had to pick i'd go with Claire Jeanette.
