I left them out, fell asleep last night and they were hard as rocks! I had fun making them with my soon to be 12 year old though, that helps...right??!! ::hangs head in shame::

OOoohhh, tempting.  I love me some sprinkles, and your kids are super cute (although I think I need about 10 more years before I can handle a tween - I 'm freaking out about crawling, so I'm nowhere near capable of handling tween issues
