This has been a pretty sh!tty day

and I'm glad that it is coming to an end. I am on my 3rd beer and it hasn't even made a dent in my stressed out self.

The main thing is that we just found out today that we need to purchase a new water softener. We have had the repairman out 3 times (today being the 3rd time) and after trying several different things (none of which worked), he suggested an entirely new unit. He also suggested buying a Sedament filter as well (which with the cartridges is an addtional $100.00 not including labor. Although my dad will probably put it in for us).

I'm sorry that you're having a bad day.  I hate unexpected repair costs, it's never anything cheap!
